Anthem: Why Play this when I could Just Play Destiny

Anthem comes out in a few weeks and the closer we get it Bioware’s latest game getting released, the more my initial enthusiasm for the game ebbs away. After a pretty strong reveal and my own personal desire for a return to good Bioware manifesting qualities to the game that might not have ever actually been there, the likelihood of Anthem hitting the ground with the promised level of quality and content seems real unlikely.

Anthem: Why Play this when I could Just Play Destiny

After a less than convincing marketing push from EA and then the eventual word of mouth getting around, thanks to more and more people got their hands on mostly finished builds of the game, it seems like Anthem is already gearing up to have many of the same issues as its competitor games in the genre upon its release.

Wooderon’s 3 most disappointing games of 2017

You saw this coming. As much as I sung the praises of 2017 as a year of great games, that doesn’t mean there isn’t still trash by the barrel full. Wooderon Games of the Year 2017: #9

This year, there were actually a few games that didn’t make it onto my list that I feel kind of bummed I didn’t get a chance to talk about. I could have squeezed this game and Prey off to talk about Battle Chef Brigade or Puyo Puyo Tetris, but I would have just come off as a right stuck up jackass if my GOTY list consisted of a ton of Indie games. I mean, it would have been dishonest… yeah.

At least I didn’t have the same problem I had last year where I was struggling to cobble ten games together worth talking about at all. Don’t get me wrong, I liked XCOM 2 just fine, but I couldn’t get passionate about it. Unless you’re talking pissed off as a type of passion.

Enough Waffle though, I’m going to get on with the list. Like previous years I’ll link the previous numbers in my list before teasing you with a link to see what I gave this entry.

#10: Prey
