Pokémon! We all love them, we all love getting irate about them and the franchise is about as huge as its ever been in its decades long lifetime. But if you take a step back and look at the series, you might realise that almost all of the enthusiasm around the series is directed in so many other places other than the mainline series these days. To the point where older, more basic fans like myself start to wonder how important those main games are to Nintendo these days.

Now the first series of The Bad Batch is over, I feel compelled to write about it. I mean, I wouldn’t feel right moving into doing episodic reviews of Rebels without having covered this show first.
The Bad Batch is the latest new Star Wars show from Disney and made as a direct sequel to the long running Clone Wars series that I recently concluded reviewing every episode of. While none of the main characters from Clone Wars return for this series, the show deals with the continuing themes of the nature of the clones, their choices and their place in the galaxy.
Especially now the Republic has been replaced with a very different Galactic Empire.

Well, Vegeta is a big trailblazer these days isn’t he. The question of this chapter was always going to be whether Vegeta’s new transformation was going to get the hype and payoff that he probably deserves at this point, being his own personal parallel to Ultra Instinct. Seems like a silly question in retrospect, this is Vegeta we’re talking about after all. Although that doesn’t mean this chapter could still impress all the same.
