Wow, I’ve done some complaining about struggling to find time to do my normal uploads and my top ten stuff this month. This chapter… it feels like an early Christmas present. Because there’s really not a whole lot for me to talk about: It’s just one big fight.
Which isn’t a bad thing at all. It’s too bad I spend half this post going off on a Mini Essay on some Themes of Dragon Ball Super.

A while back, I signed myself up for a Viz subscription so that I could go back and read the My Hero Academia Manga from the beginning. In the time since then, I’ve kind of just not bothered to cancel it, so I’ve found myself reading a few other new manga that have been getting published on there.
Helping me discover series like Kaiju No. 8 and Hunter’s Guild: Red Hood, the latter of which recently got the dropped by Shonen Jump. Something I never actually realised until I saw a big old “The End” label at the end of the last chapter.

This, what I assume to be the climactic battle of this arc, seems pretty predictable to me all things being considered. Which isn’t always a bad thing, but I’m really of two minds with Dragon Ball Super and how by the book it wants to end up being. Toriyama was traditionally a pretty subversive storyteller. But when it comes to the climax of his more recent story arcs, the later in life he gets, the more it feels like we can see it coming.
