Mid-Week Review: Super Dragon Ball Heroes – Episode 3

The last time I spoke about Super Dragon Ball Heroes, I was pretty dismissive of it. My thoughts, summed up, were that the series seemed largely irreverent in the end. The Dragon Ball Super manga isn’t doing the Tournament of Power justice

The Dragon Ball Super anime ended in Japan a while ago. In an unusual twist, it’s the manga that has been lagging behind. That version of the story has only just reached the the introduction of Ultra Instinct. Although, “Legendary” might not be the case any longer. While Broly is a character the Dragon Ball fandom know all too well, this isn’t going to be the same character who appeared in those past movies from the mid 90s. This is Akira Toriyama’s interpretation of the character, and this time he’s going to be canon. A reinvention of the character by the original creator.
