My Most Important Video Games of the Decade: #3 – #1

These top three were the easiest games to pick on this entire list. I knew 100% that they’d be on here and also has a good idea of their placement right away too. I suppose that’s always the case when making lists like this though, you end up getting the top few easily and then agonise over the best of the rest.

Although in this case, it was a case of worrying about what to leave out rather than simply making up the numbers as a few of my yearly lists have felt like these past few years. Anyways, let’s get this top 15 finished up so I can go back to talking about anime or something.

Wooderon’s favourite Video Games of 2019 – #6

Today’s game is one I can’t seem to go a year without talking about in some from come these ends of year celebrations. I’m aware this is my person list and I’m free to put whatever the hell I want into it, but I am a weird sticker for my own rules when it comes to posts like these. And it pains me to break these rules when it happens.

Either way, this is a game I spent significant time with this year and I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight it and give it the attention it deserves.

Shadowkeep feels like a major shift for Destiny I can’t put my finger on

I almost feel guilty when it comes to writing about Destiny these days. I always envision the people who follow my blog rolling their eyes and thinking here we go again, old man getting up on his soap box. But right now is Destiny time; we’re a few weeks into a new expansion and I just needs to address it.

Not just because it’s the game that is my obsession, but because Shadowkeep is something different for Destiny. It’s their first major expansion since Bungie parted ways with Activation, meaning they’re freer to pursue their own vision for the game without pressure from the monolithic company above them. Of course, that means they also need to do so on a much smaller budget.
