The commonly jumped to conclusion regarding Mass Effect Trilogy is that the third one is the bad one. Regardless of the reasoning or actual truth behind that statement, there was such a fiasco over the ending of the game back when it first came out that Bioware actually had to apologise about is and then go back and “fix” it.

Returning to Mass Effect – Legendary Edition: Mass Effect 2

I Forgot how long this game is.

It’s kind of strange. Despite how much I hail Mass Effect 2 as one of the most important video games in my life, it found its way to the top of my “most important video games of the decade” list, it’s possible that it might be a video game that I’ve played too much. Which was the thought that kept entering my brain during the later 20 hours of working through this incredible thing.

Returning to Mass Effect – Legendary Edition: Mass Effect 1

I’ve not been shy about talking up how much I love and have had my video game sensibilities moulded by the original Mass Effect Trilogy. So it would only be natural that I would drop everything else I was doing in order to go back and binge through this incredibly seminal trilogy of video games. It also might explain why I didn’t manage to get anything written or posted on my blog whatsoever the week this came out.
