Y’know, if Majin Buu’s personality was even slightly less grating, I’d be a huge fan. His goofy nature and really unique power set could make him was more impactful to the show… the writer says when this manga chapter makes Majin Buu more relevant than he’s been since he was introduced as an antagonist. Demon Slayer – Episode 7: “Muzan Kibutsuji” Review
I know I said this show was going fast, but my ingrained expectation for Shonen to take hundreds of episodes to get anywhere is still getting the better of me here. Because in episode 7 Tanjiro comes face to face with the demon he’s been looking for, much to my shock.

Sarazanmai is bizarre, progressive and has a lot of heart
In a season where nothing much was especially jumping out at me, I took some shots in the dark. Mostly due to a striking visual style and bizarre visuals, Sarazanmai caught my attention. After getting to know the extreme formulaic setup to episodes and repeated animation, I came close to dropping off. After getting to the half way point, I’m glad I didn’t.
