Dragon Ball Super Manga – Chapter 60: Merus’s Miscalculation

I feel like this chapter is a perfect exemplifier of both what has been great about the storytelling in Dragon Ball Super, and also why it’s been so bad at times. There a sense of a status quo about Super that was definitely not there during Dragon Ball’s original run. I am enjoying it in the moment to moment of reading it, but I feel like this kind of thing is harmful to the story in the long run. If it wants to have a long run.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Revisited – Part 6: Bloody Pirates!

I’m starting to grow a little bit concerned that these posts are just going to get longer and longer as I get deeper into them. It’s why I’m glad I’ve got a little bit of a breather for this one with only two episodes to talk about rather than three. It all just depends on how these multi-part storylines play out.

Tower of God – Episode 7: Lunch and Tag

The longer this series goes on, the more I feel like I’m losing touch with reality. When I first started writing about it, I mentioned that there was some dreamlike quality to the events of the first episode. After pulling back on that assessment for a while, I’m now fully back in the mindset that I’m in some kind of fugue state and barely keeping together in my head what’s going on in Tower of God.
