Star Wars Visions Reviews – Episode 4: The Village Bride

These episodes seem to alternate between being stories that could happily slot into the established Star Wars continuity and ones that just blew the whole thing up as fantastically as they could. Episode 4, like the second episode deals with a Padawan survivor of Order 66 and how they move on from the trauma of their pasts.

Only the hero of this story goes about things a little differently than Jay from Tattooine Rhapsody.

2021 Summer Anime Season Roundup

Yeesh. I really kind of feel I like crapped the bed this anime season. In that I just fell off so many of the shows that I seemed to feel like I was pretty interested in based on my Three Episode Rule series. I guess I shouldn’t feel married to the verdicts I arrive at after the first three episodes, but I feel kind of bad when I end up falling off a series immediately after posting the 3ER of it on here.

Star Wars Visions Reviews – Episode 3: The Twins

Now this is the kind of utter nonsense I was expecting when I heard there was going to be an anime/Star Wars collaboration project. And leave it to Studio Trigger to dive head first into turning Star Wars into just about the most anime thing I think I might have ever seen. Then again, there has always been something a little “extra” about Trigger and the shows they produce.
