Jujutsu Kaisen – Episode 10 Review – Idle Transfiguration

We open on a scene that shows us Yoshino does actually have some friends, although they bail on him pretty quickly when some highly violent school bullies show up. I swear, I try to push high school out of my mind as much as I can these days, but I don’t remember it being full of downright psychotics like this.

I mean, yeah this is an anime about literal monsters made of negative energy murdering people. But I dunno, there’s something about the extreme violence high school students use in their bullying of one another and get away with it scott-free really bugs me for some reason.

Jujutsu Kaisen – Episode 9 Review: Small Fry and Reverse Retribution

As we open this episode, we do so not with Itadori, but of some other high school kid. One who is targeted and bullied by his classmates for no real reason other than they find it funny. In fact, we get a quick crash course as to why people suck and why this kid hates everyone around him. While getting bullied, a teacher spots it happening out of the window and does nothing. The kid is obviously frustrated by his own life and wants some way, any way to lash out back at life.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Review – Episode 5: The Jedi

While there have been no bad episode of the Mandalorian this second season, there has certainly been a trend of a very exciting episode being following by a good, but not amazing one. “The Jedi” certainly continues that trend by being one of the best episodes of the show in its entirety so far. Reintroducing a much anticipated character into the show while also giving us some genuine backstory the Baby Yoda himself.

Which means that might be the last time I playfully refer to “The Child” as Baby Yoda.
