Hades – The much needed Narrative Roguelike

Sometimes, there are these games that I hear everyone talking about for weeks or months nonstop. Games that I should be desperate to get my hands on. Yet, for some reason I don’t, I sit on my hands and only pick them up much later.

It was around the time I was compiling and writing my top ten video games of 2020 list that I became very aware that I’d made a big mistake by not playing Hades. Despite having every opportunity to realise that I was missing out on something great. Because Hades is great.

Dragon Ball Super Manga – Chapter 69: The Evolution of Planet Cereal

Who likes worldbuilding? Because there’s a lot of that going on in this newest chapter of Dragon Ball Super. One thing I have noticed about Super is that while it seems super resistant to changing the status quo on Earth and with any of the characters who live there, it is very happy to chop and change the state of the wider universe.

Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 68: Granolah the Survivor

The early parts of these manga arcs are always the most exciting parts of them. Maybe it’s because they’re full of potential and all the Dragon Ball obsessed bloggers and Youtubers come up with a ton of new, more interesting possibilities than the stories themselves end up being. Or am I being too cynical do you think?
