I know we’re far from the ending of this arc, but I’d still kind of hoped that this fight could have turned out a little differently. As much as I’ve enjoyed the build and development into this fight; now it’s actually happening I’m finding it falling a little flat for me personally.

I praise and complain about The New Pokémon Snap

The latest in what feels like the miraculous return of long dead video game franchises; Pokémon snap makes its shock return to the Nintendo Switch in the imaginatively titled New Pokémon Snap. The first game on N64 was one of those games I played to absolute death as a young kid. So the idea of coming to a brand new entry in the series over 20 years later is kind of bizarre to me.

Pokémon Fan-Game – Pokémon Xenoverse review

Turns out it’s Pokémon Week on my blog. I’m spending the entire week talking about it. What’s the occasion? I dunno, good timing I guess.

Fellow blogger Pokémon fan who puts me to shame in her drive to blog; Pinkie of Pinkie’s Paradise has been on a mission to play through as many Pokémon fan games as she possibly can these past few months. For the most part, these seemed like cool little curiosities to me. Cool ideas with varying quality of execution. The only game that I ever came close to enjoying before was Pokémon Uranium.

But there was something different about Pokemon Xenoverse from the moment I laid my eyes on it. A level of production and design that put on a whole different level than any other fan made Pokemon game I’d ever seen before.
