My Personal Highlights from the 14/02/2019 Nintendo Direct

A typical Nintendo Direct always manages to see me swinging wildly between extremes of emotion. I’m either as hyped and ready to pop as a well shaken bottle of champagne, or I’m utterly disinterested in the Nth instalment of some long running JRPG series that is neigh indistinguishable from the two announcements either side of it.

My Personal Highlights from the 14/02/2019 Nintendo Direct

I came into this Direct primarily hoping there would be any utterance of what the new Pokemon game for Switch could be. Unfortunately, after watching the whole thing, there wasn’t a pocket monster to be seen. That doesn’t mean I was unhappy with Nintendo’s offerings in their latest direct broadcast though. Sorry, No Blogs for a Couple of Days

As the title suggests, I’m not going to upload like I normally do for a couple of days. I do have some reviews half written, but these past two weeks have been rough.

It’s a bit of a chaotic time right now to tell the truth.

So, my apologies for this dud week. I will try to get a mob psycho review up on Thursday, failing that I’ll just post it on Friday and start next week fresh. Sorry again everyone.

Key people begin the huge swell of Call of Duty popularity off the back of Modern Warfare. And my personal favourite game in the franchise; Modern Warfare 2.

Apex Legends Might be The Battle Royale Game I Can Actually Enjoy

So, not only do I find out that Respawn have a new shooter out, and it’s set within the Titanfall universe, and it’s going to be free to play, and it’s already out! Of course I was going to drop whatever I was doing and desperately scramble to download it. The only thing that would cause me some sense of hesitation, would be the fact that it was a Battle Royale game, a burgeoning genre I, historically, never got along with. Apex Legends though, it’s managed to turn me around entirely.
