My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission was a lot of fun; here’s me nit-picking it to death

Me seeing this movie came as something of a surprise to even me. I never really had any intention of searching it out, mostly because I’m predisposed to not expect anime movies to come out near me. It was only when looking for something else that I noticed there were a few screenings of this My Hero Academia movie near me. I guess it’s just a sign of the times changing considering how empty this screening was compared to Demon Slayer earlier this year and how difficult finding a screening of the Broly movie was for me before that.

3 Episode Rule – The Faraway Paladin

It’s time for my Iskai of the season! In between the time of me putting this anime on my shortlist of things to watch and actually getting around to watching these first three episodes back to back, I had totally forgotten this was an isekai. If you’ve been following me on here with any regularity, you’ll know I’m not the biggest stand for theiskeai tsunami that we’re being subjected to these past handful of years.

But that doesn’t mean I’m not willing to give one of them a chance every now and then.

My Thoughts on: Metroid Dread and the game’s ending

Metroid is just one more of the examples of why Nintendo is such a peculiar company. Despite the series’s substantial popularity in the west, and it having enough value to be one of the longstanding representatives of a franchise like Super Smash Bros. Nintendo themselves don’t seem to have that much of a vested interest in doing a whole lot with the Metroid franchise. Which I suppose has been something of a mixed blessing for the storied, yet spaced out adventures of Samus Aran.
