For Archival purposes, I thought it might be a good idea to compile my entire top ten lists from 2020 into a single post. Just to make it easier for people to go back and look at them after the fact. So, without any more fluff, here are my favourite 10 games I actually found the time to play in 2020.
I’ll make this one quick because I just got home from work and need some sleep. there are some games throughout the year that, while they might not have blown me away, they linger with me. They’re the kind of game I can’t help but go back to over and over again, even if it’s only to play it for a few minutes. That kind of sums up why this entry made it onto my list.
As much as I like to boast that I’m not a nostalgic person, there have been a string of video games coming out this year that seem to evoke a very specific era of my childhood. And while I’m not going to fall over myself to to sing the praises of one of the bigger games I played growing up, I’m still kind of in awe of the fact that we got another Streets of Rage game after over 25 years.
