The Mandalorian Season 2 Review – Episode 5: The Jedi

While there have been no bad episode of the Mandalorian this second season, there has certainly been a trend of a very exciting episode being following by a good, but not amazing one. “The Jedi” certainly continues that trend by being one of the best episodes of the show in its entirety so far. Reintroducing a much anticipated character into the show while also giving us some genuine backstory the Baby Yoda himself.

Which means that might be the last time I playfully refer to “The Child” as Baby Yoda.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Review – Episode 4: The Siege

I knew we wouldn’t be getting to Ahsoka right away. They’re always going to hold that reveal off for as long as they possibly can. So, what we get here feels like something of a transitional episode. In it; Din Djarin and the Child return to Nevarro and catch up with some of our favourite characters from season 1.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Review – Episode 2: The Passenger

This is a story of things going from bad, to worse, to bone, to hell with it. Losing his only lead on a fellow Mandalorian contact, our Mando returns to his ship, having some very mixed bouts of luck along the way. I was wondering if the Temuera Morrison reveal at the end of the previous episode would and an impact on this one. But we’d not be so lucky, as that seems to be getting held off for later.
