8 Things that could have made be buy the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Remakes

It’s been a while since I wrote a Pokémon List. It feels like nice, comfortable old ground that I have to come back to every now and then. Although at this point I feel like I’m running out of topics to cover in these lists without repeating myself. Then it came to me; the Gen 4 remakes just came out and I don’t think I’m going to buy them.

So why not just lean into that classic, unrealistic level of expectation of the average toxic Pokémon fan and talk about why the new Pokémon games are garbage.

Is Nintendo lagging behind in 2021?

Like practically everyone else in the world, I’m playing Metroid Dread right now. At least, that’s what my specifically catered collection of people I follow on Twitter leads me to believe anyway. Should Nintendo Fire Game Freak from Pokémon?

Pokémon! We all love them, we all love getting irate about them and the franchise is about as huge as its ever been in its decades long lifetime. But if you take a step back and look at the series, you might realise that almost all of the enthusiasm around the series is directed in so many other places other than the mainline series these days. To the point where older, more basic fans like myself start to wonder how important those main games are to Nintendo these days.
