3 Episode Rule – Mieruko-Chan

3 Episode Rule is a series in which I watch the first three episodes of a new anime and decide whether to stick with it or drop it based on those three episodes alone.

New season, new series of 3 Episode Rule, and we’re starting this season off with a banger. I know the manga this series is based on has been hugely popular in Japan, so I was super eager to see what this one was all about. And I should get into it because I’ve given myself a pretty big list of anime to look into this season for my 3 Episode Rule series.

Star Wars: Rebels Revisited – Part 6: Who put this clown in a Darth Vader Costume?

We kick off season 2 of Rebels with a two parter to kick off the dust of the first act. Or maybe not, maybe we need just one more story to be done with Lothal for the near future. Which is why this second series starts off the the two part premier: The Siege of Lothal. Two episodes I’m going to review today.

Star Wars Visions Reviews – Episode 9: Akakiri

This episode felt like an odd choice to end the series on to me. While the previous two episodes I talked about felt like they had very Star Warsy messages and themes at their core, Akakiri is more of a mystical episode in a great many ways that approaches its story with a tone that feels neither especially Star Wars Inspired nor Japanese inspired as far as I can tell.
