I made a prediction about the direction I felt this show was going a few reviews back, then it went and totally defied my expectations by having last episode happen. Demon Slayer, it seems, wanted it both ways though, making Tanjiro the badass and also in need of rescuing. So my predictions ended up coming to fruition in the end anyway.

Apex Legends and their gilded ladder to nowhere

As a new event crests over the horizon for a popular video game, it’s inevitably accompanied by the not so distant yells of outrage for some reason or another. Not to undermine the perpetually hot topic that is cosmetic microtransactions in video games, but when it comes to Apex Legends, I can’t help but air on the side of a big ol’ shrug… Hey, anyone else smell hypocrisy in here?

Demon Slayer – Episode 19: Hinokami

I am consistently in a state of awe of how fantastic the action sequences in Demon Slayer look. I know I run the risk of sounding like a broken record, but at this point I’m past caring. The buildup, the execution and weight behind the decisive moments of battle effect me at a core level.
