After the first episode, which very much felt like an alternate take on the Star Wars legend, this second episode veers off in a totally different direction and just feels like some good old fashioned anime that happens to take place in the Star Wars universe. The result being that this episode ends up feeling nothing like Star Wars whatsoever.

Star Wars Visions Reviews – Episode 1: The Duel

I wasn’t expecting Disney Plus to drop this entire series in one go. Unlike Netflix’s binge model, Disney seem to prefer to release their episodes week to week, promoting that water cooler discussion and online speculation that comes with a more traditionally releases series.

Which kind of threw my plans into disarray as I planned to review these episode week by week rather than in one big chunk. So when they all dropped together, I had a think about it and decided to say sod it and just review them all individually anyway.

Dragon Ball Super Manga – Chapter 76: The Fate of the Saiyans

Y’know, I was thinking this fight could go in any number of different ways. I’ll admit that an introspective teaching moment from Vegeta wasn’t one of them. When I’m around the time of reading the chapter and writing this review afterwards, I try to avoid as many opinions as I can. Especially considering how paper thin the average nuance of a Dragon Ball fan tends to be.

They generally tend to miss the entire point of the chapter when it’s actually trying to say something. Given that is the exception rather than the rule when it comes to Dragon Ball.
