Super Dragon Ball Heroes – Episode 6 does the impossible: Surprise me

This time, we mercifully see an end to the fight with Cumber, and the first reappearance of Goku’s full Ultra Instinct ability since the fight against Jiren. Although I’m not 100% certain that the people slapping this show together know that Ultra Instinct isn’t just Super Saiyan White. Although it might as well be.

As the episode begins, the embodiment of the self-insert character; Fu is fighting off both Xeno Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan 4 forms. The battle is short lived though, as Cumber is still angry though and cock block’s Fu’s fight.

Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #1

Thus we come to the close on my first ever top ten anime of the year list. I think it went well… Although it made me realise that I watched a lot less anime this year than I thought I did. Sure, I watched a wider variety of shows than I probably ever have done before. But compared to just how many shows are out there to watch, I only really scraped the surface. It’s a start I feel happy with though, I discovered some new stuff and am looking forward to see what I can introduce myself to in 2019.

Before I get ahead of myself talking about brand new anime in 2019, there is still a matter of the number one entry on my 2018 list. This entry; it probably one of the farthest from new anime in my personal books. If anyone who has been keeping up with my blog in any capacity is hopping for a surprise here, you’re barking up the wrong tree. This is a predictable entry for me, and at a point I was going to be apologetic about it. But what’s the point in being apologist when it comes to an obvious winner?

Wooderon Games of the Year 2018: #8

Moving on from my indie sub-section, the list starts to become a little more mainstream from this point onward. Which isn’t to say that the indie games can’t reach the higher peaks of my top ten lists, but there’s always a factor of being more to appreciate in a AAA game, just through the sheer size of its development team and budget.

Today’s entry comes from a studio with an established pedigree, as well as a franchise with a huge existing fan base. So right from the start, the anticipation for it was high. And with good reason, as this one turned out to be a fantastic piece of videogamesmanship. I don’t want to start diving into it too much already, but it’s difficult to find a better looking game this year from both an artistic standpoint and its faithfulness to its source material.

I’ll just list the previous two entries and start digging into this one shall I:
