Dr. Stone – The Trouble with writing a show around smart character

Within a medium where so many shows focus on character’s grit and physical abilities getting them through situations, it’s difficult to plot a purely cerebral character in to that same environment. When your lead’s main power is critical thinking, showing that off while keeping it believable is strangely more difficult than with someone who can shoot jet engines out of their heels.

I guess my questions regarding the leadership of the Demon Slayers has an answer now. The reason why they send a whole bunch of under prepared, under qualified slayers right into hell itself is because they’re freaking insane.

Fire Force – Episode 8: Infernal Insects

As it turns out, the 1st division is far less infested with villains and evildoers than I was first lead to believe. Although, we get to the villainy and evildoing far faster than I was expecting. I guess I’m just predisposed to believe all shonen drags everything out at every opportunity.
