Destiny Talk: Season of Arrivals, Next 3 Years & Sunsetting of Content

Welp, we’re well and truly on the seasonal treadmill now aren’t we. As Destiny enters its final season of year 3, I feel like the shine has mostly worn off, and things are becoming pretty wrote. Which is weird to say in the face of the recent Bungie announcements and commitments to Destiny 2 for at least another three years.

While Season of Arrivals does have me playing again after bouncing off Season of the Worthy pretty hard, it kind of just feels like a stop gap before get get Beyond Light in September.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War: Season 2 – Premise Amnesia isn’t always a bad thing

I loved the first season of Love is War so much. Just putting that out there so we all know where we stand. It was one of the shows that really got be back into anime, and definitely the one that got me into reading manga. The second season of this high concept romantic comedy does something I see shows that have made it do and start to move away from the concept that got it picked up in the first place.

This isn’t always necessarily a bad thing.

Five Manga I Was Reading Recently That Abruptly Ended

I’ve been reading manga for about 12 months now, and in that time I’ve noticed that sometimes a series I was enjoying will end super abruptly or will simply stop updating, and it’ll be months before I remember it and wonder what happened. Through idle curiosity, I’m learning about the manga industry and how things can just go away on a publisher’s whim.

It’s been an interesting experience, and one that’s given me insight into the community’s pain over losing series. And as someone who still feels relatively new to the game of anime/manga and writing about it, I thought I’d list a bunch of series I was enjoying that ended in ways I felt were kind of abrupt.
