Last week’s episode, The Passenger, left me feeling a little flat. I enjoyed it enough, but in a series that’s been promising to use existing characters from the wider lore, a self-contained, monster of the week, style episode such as that left me a little frustrated. Although I could rest assured by the end as this third episode of the second series proved to be many times more satisfying to me as a Star Wars nerd.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Review – Episode 2: The Passenger
This is a story of things going from bad, to worse, to bone, to hell with it. Losing his only lead on a fellow Mandalorian contact, our Mando returns to his ship, having some very mixed bouts of luck along the way. I was wondering if the Temuera Morrison reveal at the end of the previous episode would and an impact on this one. But we’d not be so lucky, as that seems to be getting held off for later.

Jujutsu Kaisen – Episode 6 Review: After Rain
After thinking about it some more, episode five last week actually left me kinda wanting. While it did give us a phenomenal fight scene between Sukune and Fushiguro, I still felt like the show was going a touch too fast and leaving me in the dark a little when it came to the state of the world. Episode 6 is the first one that seems to settle down a bit and start to really let this world and its characters sink in a bit.
