Yeesh. I really kind of feel I like crapped the bed this anime season. In that I just fell off so many of the shows that I seemed to feel like I was pretty interested in based on my Three Episode Rule series. I guess I shouldn’t feel married to the verdicts I arrive at after the first three episodes, but I feel kind of bad when I end up falling off a series immediately after posting the 3ER of it on here.

Anime 3 Episode Rule – Sonny Boy
3 Episode Rule is a series in which I watch the first three episodes of a new anime and decide whether to stick with it or drop it based on those three episodes alone.
Every time I do this series, there is always a “just one more” series I end up watching. Usually going into it totally blind and on a whim. Sonny Boy was that series for me this anime season. Jumping into it based on the look of the show and the single paragraph promise of “kids with superpowers” in the description.

3 Episode Rule is a series in which I watch the first three episodes of a new anime and decide whether to stick with it or drop it based on those three episodes alone.
When you realise the first episode of a new series you might be watching is 40 minutes long, you can really go one of two ways on it. Coming into this show completely blind, it made me a little apprehensive. I made the choice (mistake?) of watching all three episodes back to back.
Sometimes that has an effect on my response to the series, although this time I feel like my feelings would have been the same on The Detective is Already Dead regardless of how I shoved it down my peepers.
