The Misguided Narrative of Kingdom Heart’s Narrative

Now before you get your hopes up, this isn’t going to be a review of Kingdom Hearts III. In fact, as of this moment, I don’t actually have any plans to play Kingdom Hearts III at all. Before you may assume I am just going to rag on the convoluted story line for this long running franchise, bear in mind it’s but one of many reasons this game isn’t a “must play” for me.

Okay, so yes. One of the biggest reasons is the narrative that’s been spun up online in the lead up to this game’s release. One that is being overblown, but is not without some significant sized grain of truth at its core. In terms of the franchise’s overaching story; it actually really is the inscrutable mess that so many YouTubers want you to believe it is. In theory, I’d need to make the effort to understand it all if I wanted to get the most out of Kingdom Hearts III.

The Dangers of Blogging too Broadly

When I very first started writing, my initial focus was video games, back in 2009 when I was a naive print journalism student and I started blogging on Tumblr. Wow… that means in May, I’ll have been blogging in various places for 10 years… I should probably do something for that…

Mob Psycho 100 -Season 2: Episode 4 – Inside ~Evil Spirit~ Review

Could we have finally met with a foe that even Mob’s overwhelming strength cannot deal with, or a vision of what Mob could potentially become if he continues down the train of thought that has been posed to him these past few weeks.

this week’s episode begins with Reigen and Mob on their way to a rich patrons mansion, with the yen signs alight in Reigen’s eyes. As they arrive, they find the place filled with every esper, psychic, crook and kook from miles around as the owner begs them all to purge the evil spirit that is in possession of his daughter.
