I spent the last post talking about how much I’d grown to like Zenitsu after really not being a big fan based on his introduction. I ended by saying that the show just needed to make me like Inosuke a little more. Well, as if knowing I’d say that, we get an episode that does glean a little more into the Boar Boy’s history and character.
Fire Force – Episode 4: The Hero and the Princess
Y’know, when this started, I was not expecting Fire Force to become a show about corrupt corporations and uncovering government conspiracies. With all the religious overtones and fantasy trappings of the characters and the setting, at the very least I can praise it’s capacity to surprise me.
In this episode, we really start to get into the weeds of Special Fire Force Company 8’s role within the greater Fire Force, and see just how this rag-tag, underfunded operation have a seemingly impossible role in comparison to the other seven companies that precede them.

Demon Slayer : Episode 17 – You Must Master a Single Thing
When he was first introduced, I gave Zenitsu an especially hard time. Not as hard a time as some reviewers on here had done, but to put it plainly: I wasn’t a fan. But right away after his introductory episode, the show started to work to redeem him. So now, only a handful of episodes later I’ve become a massive fan.
