Bumblebee is the Transformers movie we Needed and Deserved

I struggle to think of a movie franchise that needed a fresh start as badly as Transformers. The five movies that came before under Michael Bay’s guidance were tolerated at best by most of the fandom of the original franchise. Bumblebee is a tentative step in the direction of a reboot that also happens to be the best live action movie in the entire franchise.

This is Akira Toriyama’s interpretation of the character, and this time he’s going to be canon. A reinvention of the character by the original creator.
