3 Episode Rule is a series in which I watch the first three episodes of a new anime and decide whether to stick with it or drop it based on those three episodes alone.

Bloody hell. What a title. I know that’s kind of become the gag now with these light novel adaptations, but jeez. For the duration of this post I’m just going to call the series “Quiet Life”. You’ll get what I’m talking about. This isn’t the first time this series came up on my blog recently either, as I talked about it when I spoke about Video game mechanics in anime especially in regard to the manga for this series.

3 Episode Rule – Mieruko-Chan

3 Episode Rule is a series in which I watch the first three episodes of a new anime and decide whether to stick with it or drop it based on those three episodes alone.

New season, new series of 3 Episode Rule, and we’re starting this season off with a banger. I know the manga this series is based on has been hugely popular in Japan, so I was super eager to see what this one was all about. And I should get into it because I’ve given myself a pretty big list of anime to look into this season for my 3 Episode Rule series.

2020 Autumn Anime Season Roundup

In many ways, this season seemed like the one that went on forever. Part of that is my own doing considering a chunk of it ran through December; a month where I put far much work on my own plate. The result of which has made me realise I need to give myself a break. Not that I intend to stop writing or anything, but I’m going to pull my foot off the gas for at least a month.

For January, I’m going to continue writing the series posts I have been doing for the past few months, but I’m going to take a little bit of time to reset myself and come up with a different upload schedule that doesn’t have me pushing myself to play catchup on a constant basis.
