Man I’m so bummed out. It really does say a lot about my feelings on the Book of Boba Fett when the best episode in the series so far is the one that doesn’t feature the titular character at all. I’m super happy we got this episode, but I’m kind of bummed that it is so good compared to what we’ve been provided so far by this series.

More than once throughout this series, I’ve said that the flashback sequences in the Book of boba have almost been to the detriment to the main story being told in the present. Only because they’ve felt so much stronger than the story that has been staggering along in Fett’s quest to become a new major crime lord.

I was not expecting this series to be as controversial as it has been. I’ll admit that the series hasn’t been exactly what I expected it to be, but the parts of it I do like, I really like. Which is less of the overall run of this episode than maybe I would have liked.
