It looks like Bucciarati has been stealing plays from the Jotaro Kujo play book. Coincidentally, he’s fast becoming a member of my “not a jojo who might as well be a jojo” appreciation club after the conclusion of this little two parter.
After throwing himself from the “120 km speeding train” along with Prosciutto at the climax of the previous episode, it seemed like Bucciarati’s act of sacrifice would save Trish and his crew. However, thanks to some uncharacteristically quick thinking, giant thumb headed man manages to catch both of them on the outside of the train with his fishing rod stand.

After watching this episode and the one before it, I feel like we’re starting to really get into the weeds of the story this series. We’re finally up to date with introducing the main cast and their Stands, now we can throw them into some harrowing situations as they continue their body guarding job of the Boss’s daughter: Trish.
At the end of the previous episode, Old man Mista made the unfortunate discovery that there were two enemy stand users on the train with them and he got a stand based fishing hook lodged into his body. Yet more grotesque imagery for the scrap book.

I think I might have made a mistake when making the choice to start talking about individual Jojo episodes, because how do you break down this show and not just sound like a raving lunatic.
Okay, okay, so Bucciarati puts they key they found in the previous episode in a perfect indent on the back of the turtle, and then the gang all get sucked into a pocket dimension to hide from the two assassins chasing them, one of which looks like a thumb crossed with a pineapple… see what I mean about sounding like a mad man.
