This spring season has been a slow burn for me. With nothing immediately jumping out and dragging me in with cold, clammy hands. I had to search out which shows I wanted to invest my time into through… recommendations. Seriously though, without Youtube not throwing  especially cute shows at me through their algorithm I ended up finding Demon Slayer through a different kind of grapevine: Human interaction!

Wooderon Movies of the Year 2018: Best Movie

Okay, so I say best movie. What I probably mean is best movie that doesn’t carry a ton of baggage along with it. The kind of baggage that means you need to watch a handful of other movies to get the intended levels of appreciation for it when viewing. Which is Ironic really considering this is the sixth movie in the franchise and follows heavily from the events of the one that came before.

If you were to go into Mission: Impossible – Fallout completely blind, with no prior knowledge of the series, you’d still be able to appreciate it as one of the finest action movies to come out in years. Which is something I’d struggle to say about any other movie I’ve spoken about already in the past few days… Except maybe The Meg.

Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #9

My fumbling around in the world of Anime continues this evening. Flip flopping between video games and anime as I write these has been more tricky than I had expected it to be. One more lesson to go into the pot of things I’ll probably forget by the time I get around to doing this again next year.

Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #9

Today’s entry is another late season show. I dabbled with the idea of leaving this show off my list entirely, with how little of it I’ve seen. But with each passing episode, I find myself enjoying the show more and more. I felt like I needed to give it some recognition for how much enjoyment it gives me. That being said, I really will have to figure out a better way of organising these lists next year. Hey, if any other anime bloggers out there want to give me their thoughts on it, feel free to do so.
