3 Episode Rule – To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts

The general rule of thumb when watching a new anime season, I’ve learned, is that it usually takes about three episodes to know if the show it worth pursuing or not. And in a pretty jam packed schedule it’s not really possible for someone like me to keep up with everything coming out week to week.

In an attempt to continue broadening my consumption of anime, I decided to start watching as many new series as possible during this summer season. With the plan to use the first three episodes as a basis for whether or not I’m going to continue watching the shows or not to the bitter end.

As much as season three of Attack on Titan felt like a culmination of events that had been building since the very first episode, its resulting revelations showed that the titans were only the tip of the iceberg when it came to the threats against the people living within the walls.

Senko-San: You’re getting Harem in my Wholesome

This is a show whose single sentence description made me feel kind of dirty for enjoying it as much as I did. Starring a prepubescent looking fox girl, who is constantly reassuring the audience that she is well over 800 years old, show up to “pamper” some adult man really hits home where all those FBI memes come from.
