Wooderon Games of the Year 2016: #9

Day number two of my Games of the Year listings, and it kind of feels like I didn’t play much more than 10 games this year. Which not to say this bottom end of the list was scrabbled together from the only other games I could figure out I’d played this year, but it’s been light.

Wooderon Games of the Year 2016: #10

2016 has most defiantly not been my most prolific video gaming year. I have spent a significant amount of time looking at screens for sure, but I’ve noticed my tastes and gaming habits changing. It isn’t just me though. I think the industry as a whole has gone through a bit of a shift.

The focus on buying new games every couple of weeks seems to be dying down a little. Games are expensive, and more of them are coming out than ever before. However, just because a game was absent doesn’t mean I just didn’t play it. Some games this year let me down. They managed to build themselves up and then ultimately fail to deliver for me in a way that meant I needed to bring them up here to clear up a few things and complain.

for your displeasure, here are my three most disappointing games of 2015: Continue reading “3 most disappointing games of 2015”
