Wooderon’s Favourite Anime of 2021: #10: Megalo Box 2: Nomad

I think 2021 has been a bit of an odd year for me in terms of the media I consume. I don’t know if it’s my personal perspective or it just being a bit of a lame year, but both in terms of the video games I played and the anime I watched, it kind of feels like it was all just a bit meh.

Which isn’t to say there weren’t good anime. I mean, this list still needs to go up doesn’t it. I just feel like the list didn’t just fall onto the page mostly formed like it has the past few years I’ve done this.

Wooderon’s 10 Favourite Anime Openings and Endings of 2021

I did this last year and people seemed to get a kick out of it. So why not ride my own coattails and try it again. I don’t pretend to know much about music, I like what I like and I’m content to quietly enjoy it. So I’m not claiming to be any expert on this subject, but regardless the opening to an anime can be a super important part of the experience..

Wooderon’s Favourite Anime of 2020 – #1

I’ve watched a lot of anime this year. Maybe to the detriment of other aspects of my life. I know I sure watched a lot less western television as a result, and maybe played fewer video games too. It’s enough that I feel like I need a break from it for at least one season. But regret it? Not a chance. While it hasn’t been the most amazing year for anime, there have still been at least ten shows this year that I loved enough to talk about them on this list.

And for anyone that’s been keeping up with my blog throughout the year, I have to wonder how much this top pick will come as a surprise to them or not.
