Detective Pikachu Movie seems to understand video game movies

A trailer dropped the other day for a live action Pokemon movie. Specifically, one based on the Detective Pikachu 3DS game. As expected the internet has been split asunder by this staggeringly weird trailer. Honestly though, I think it looks pretty good.

Here’s the thing, sure, live action Pokemon are kind of freaky looking. But of course they are, how else would they possibly look. I even think the people making the movie lean into this by showing a Jiggypuff and Mr. Mime so prominently in the trailer.

Five nit-picky problems with Red Dead Redemption 2

It feels par the course that I go and complain about the thing that everyone else in the world loves right now. I don’t see myself a the ultra negative internet type person who just criticises everything for attention.

But I’ve got nothing else to talk about right now seeing as all I’m doing is playing Red Dead Redemption 2… Plus, I’m nowhere near close enough to the ending of the game, so I can’t realistically be expected to give a full review of it at this point in time. So what else is there to do than pick five things about the game that annoy me slightly in what is, otherwise, a brilliantly made game.

Is Deltarune Undertale 2, if it means more of the Fandom then I hope not

I’m a little late to the party. But Toby Fox, creator of indie darling; UNDERTALE, surprise released the first chapter of his next game. Playing with his fan base in his own typical fashion, it wasn’t clear what the file we were downloading even was to begin with. As we finished, the executable title finally popped in: Deltarune.

An anagram of UNDERTALE and featuring many familiar faces returning from the first game, the internet lit up, chatting about the sequel to UNDERTALE. But is that actually what Deltarune is?
