My Hero Academia – Episode 86: Let It Flow! School Festival!

This week’s episode picks up right were last week’s left off. Which, for some reason, comes to a surprise to me. I just assumed we’d just straight to the festival, but we get to see the aftermath of the fight between Gentle and Deku instead as some of the things I said about the characters last week come to some kind of fruition here.

My Hero Academia – Episodes 84 & 85: A Gentle Ass Whoopin

Man, where did that past week go. I was half way through writing a review of episode 84 and then before I know it, 85 is already out. But if there were any two episodes to double up, these would be as a good couple as I was going to get, as they feature the beginning and the conclusion of the battle between Deku and Gentle Criminal.

In/Spectre – How can a show with such a premise be so dull?

How can a series with a premise of being a cerebral focused, detective Yokai show be so boring. The elevator pitch for this show alone would have been enough to get me on board with bells on. But now we’re eight episodes in and hit the end of the first major story arc, the premise feels secondary to why I’m still watching this show.
