Is it too late to introduce Mutants into the MCU?

Now that Wandavision is underway, we’re beginning our time in phase 4. Which I like to think of as the beginning of the second saga in the MCU. With the ending of Thanos in Endgame and its following epilogue in the second Spider-Man movie, the franchise is taking a different approach going forward, integrating a lot of its new characters and events into television series.

Although it might just appear that way to me due to the movie industry all but being on hold due to the ongoing global pandemic.

Deadpool 2 feels like Fox’s Apology

Deadpool 2 is a crass, immature, sometimes vulgar movie which also happens to have a huge amount of heart to it. Quietly, I felt that a lot of the reason the first Deadpool was so successful was because of how unexpected it was: a fresh take on the genre that also wanted to rip it down. Going into the sequel, I was always kind of worried that Deadpool 2 would be a lazy, more of the same, kind of movie. I’m happy to say I was wrong.

My expectations of 2018’s Superhero movies

With me making the rather bold statement recently that I’m getting a little bored with there being so many Superhero movies each year. I thought I’d put my apathy to the test and see just how done I seem to think I might be when it comes to watching these movies. I’ve looked up all of the live action movies coming out this year based on Marvel Comic book characters, and the single one DC is putting out. I’ve gone against my personal rule of trying to avoid as much information about these movies as possible and read every synopsis and watched every available trailer for them.

I’m going to be listing them in the order they’re due to come out throughout this year. And I’ll just give my honest feelings about where In sit with them right now. But if my lack of enthusiasm for Thor and Guardians 2 last year is anything to go by, I’m going to be a mostly unimpressed chap I think.
