This movie is embodying so many things simultaneously I can’t really believe it. This isn’t just the third outing of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, it’s the equivalent of a shared Spider-Man movie Avengers, it’s the final piece in a six movie origin story and it’s also a finale while simultaneously being a reboot of sorts.

MCU Rewatch: Spider-Man: Homecoming is the best realisation of the character on screen
As with most of the movies in the MCU remember really enjoying, I end up putting off watching them in some weird way. In part because I worry that the movie might not hold up quite as well as I remember, but also because I wonder what it is I can possibly say about it after the fact. Especially when it comes to Spider-Man who has been, and continues to be, the most recognisable character in Marvel’s entire character roster. And the character closest to me personally. Best movies of 2017: #5 – #1
Final list for a while I think. Which is kind of sad because looking at my analytics from last year, the most popular thing on this blog by far is also the only list I’ve written on it outside of these “of the year” posts. It’s real clickbaity too, not that it was my intention when I wrote it. Oh well, It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever written so I can’t be too salty about it. It’s just just feel like a good structure for a post when you actually want to put a coherent thought forward. But then again, being a capable writer is irrelevant if you want to get paid for doing it on the internet for the most part.
Going forward with this part of the list I’ll probably get into spoilers in these entries. Don’t know if I mentioned that in the last one, probably important to know. But that’d be implied in a post like this surely.
