I took a bit of a break from my blog last week. Having problems with my internet was the straw that broke the camel’s back in terms of me just wanting to curl up into a ball and cut out the rest of the world for a while. Whilst in said ball, I had a lot of time to play Yakuza 7 and Hades. Which, if I’m honest I kind of wish I was doing right now. But I need to get back on the wagon, or else I’ll never get around to writing again. To let’s ease back into things by writing another Clone Wars Review.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Revisited – Part 40: Captain Lethe and the Trojan Starship

We’re still on this storyline eh? I know we’re into the era of four parters in this series now, but for some reason, I was so sure that I was done with this little comedic side story. But here we are, going around in what feels like an ouroboros character arc over and over.

Disney Plus and their Soft-Reboot of Star Wars

I’d feel pretty justified in saying that Star Wars, as a brand, has had a bit of roller coaster ride of fortunes since Disney’s big money purchase of the franchise. To say opinion of Star Wars has become decisive since they’ve taken the reigns would be a massive understatement.

No amount of frustration or anger at George Lucas’s creative choices around the special edition or the prequel trilogy would come close to the white-hot rage some parts of the fandom would feel about the direction of the franchise under Disney’s guidance.
