I used to be Power Rangers super fan #1 back when I was a kid. I was obsessed with them. I had the videos, I had mountains of toys and as much memorabilia as I could get my hands on. I used to pretend to be a Power Ranger. Before I really fell down the video games and anime well, Power Rangers was my life. So now a brand new Power Rangers movie, based on the original “Mighty Morphin” series of the show, is coming to theatres. How do I feel about it?

Well, strangely enough, up until yesterday I was totally indifferent. A fact that surprised even me. I’d seen the promotional stills floating around the internet, I’d caught bits of teasers before skipping them on Youtube. It wasn’t that I was disguised, or “triggered” that my childhood was being interfered with. I just didn’t care. Nothing about it interested me.
