As a part of my ongoing endeavour to consume more and different kinds of anime instead of spending money on watching sport or other streaming services, I have started this little series in which I have picked a bunch of new anime for this summer season and decide which ones I should continue watching based on their first three episodes. As is the rule of thumb to how I understand it.
This part I’ll be looking at Magical Sempai, because a show that consistently gives you an eyeful.

The general rule of thumb when watching a new anime season, I’ve learned, is that it usually takes about three episodes to know if the show it worth pursuing or not. And in a pretty jam packed schedule it’s not really possible for someone like me to keep up with everything coming out week to week.
In an attempt to continue broadening my consumption of anime, I decided to start watching as many new series as possible during this summer season. With the plan to use the first three episodes as a basis for whether or not I’m going to continue watching the shows or not to the bitter end.

Initially, the premise of this article was going to be all about why I didn’t really want to go back and watch Eva. It would have been a bunch of half-hearted complaints about a show half-remembered. I came to the wise conclusion that apathy probably wasn’t a good bases for an article.
