On this episode of Mob Psycho 100, we learn about the dangers of online advertising. After his brainwave to start a website, which amazingly looks like a Myspace page circa 2003, Reigen finds himself and Mob being hassled by some than than savoy customers looking for shady, under the table spiritual aid.
Coincidentally, Mob also gets some honest to god character growth. After being passive in the extreme when met with nearly everything that went on around him unless pushed to his limit in the first series, it’s surprising to see some positive character moves for him this early in the second series.

This episode pulls the rug from under us and it wildly diverts course from a sweet little shipping cruise to something a little more action packed. This time focusing more on Reigen as he and Mob make their way to a nearby town to investigate its excess of urban legends.
More of a self contained storyline here as the series settled back into its characters, choosing only to focus on two of our focal characters and their little ghost pal Dimple. Set up almost like a series of vignettes, showcasing Reigen’s aggressive application of common sense in a world where ghosts and psychic powers are rife.

I never really realised before, but the introduction of stands really just turned Jojo into a villain of the day anime. I don’t really remember that being the case during the first two parts, but I got through all of parts 3 and 4 without really noticing it. So I can’t really say I mind.
The last handful of episodes of the series have primarily been there to introduce us to the gang, their personalities and their stand powers. Aside from that though, It’s been about fighting off the hoards of enemy stand users. Standard fare.
