Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #2

The following two entries in this list are the window into my soul. They’re the kind of shows that made me want to watch anime in the first place. To this day, they’re the kinds of shows I still get excited about and why I wanted to write about anime at all on my blog. Sure, it’s not high art or saying anything especially important, but at the end of this day, this is a form of entertainment, something many people who talk about things online seem to forget. And these shows I need to talk about now have entertained the crap outta me.

Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #2

Cut from the same cloth, these last two shows well probably surpise nobody. All you have to do is look at what I’ve been writing about this past year in my tag list and you already know what’s going onto this list today and tomorrow. I’ll still keep some empty anticipation though and make you click the link below to reveal the title card for the show though.

#10: Goblin Slayer

#9: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind

#8: The Ancient Magus’ Bride

#7: Golden Kamuy

#6: Attack on Titan

#5: Hinamatusri

#4: Megalo Box

#3: Lupin the Third: Part V

Wooderon Games of the Year 2018: #2

Today I talk about the best loser. The game that almost won this little award ceremony of mine but still ultimately failed… I can’t even pretend to be serious… These games I’ve got to talk about in my top three are all games I loved. Being number two is never anything to be ashamed of. Unless you’re a crazy person. This is a game I would have happily given my number one slot to on a different year for all it’s achieved.

Wooderon Games of the Year 2018: #2

It was a real toss up between this game and the one following, I flipped them over several times before eventually settling on this order. They’re two very different games that both managed to be refreshing and transformative for their franchises. I’m probably tipping my hand a little too much there, but hell with it, you can probably guess where this is going anyway by this point.

But first:

#10: Dead Cells

#9: Into the Breach

#8: Dragon Ball FighterZ

#7: Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

#6: Forza Horizon 4

#5: Spyro Reignited Trilogy

#4: Red Dead Redemption 2

#3: Spider-Man

Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #3

We’re at the top three of my best anime list and those of you who know a lot more about the medium than I do will have realised that I am really only skimming the surface when it comes to genre and the depth of things out there to watch. Which is something I’ve always been open to admitting. I know what I like and it’s going to be very unusual that I foray outside of my comfort zone, even though I am really trying.

Wooderon Anime of the Year 2018: #3

Today’s entry is the last one I post before people probably start to get mad at me. So I’ll make the most of my newfound admiration for anime before all the other anime bloggers out there lose all respect for me. Despite how much I personally enjoyed today’s show, I haven’t seen too many others talking about it. So many it’s no as important as I think it is, but as my introduction to a long running series, it impressed me quite a bit.

So let’s get into it… after I list the previous seven shows on my list:

#10: Goblin Slayer

#9: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind

#8: The Ancient Magus’ Bride

#7: Golden Kamuy

#6: Attack on Titan

#5: Hinamatsuri

#4: Megalo Box
